Day 7: I am tired and really didn’t want to draw tonight. Not a good sign seven days in… But I told myself I can’t give up now! I started with a completely different idea and hated the direction it was going. I played with it a bit and a young hobbit showed up. I’m really glad I did draw tonight, and that I didn’t decide to start over. Normally I would have given up when a drawing wasn’t working out. I think that “perfectionist” mindset is holding me back artisticly. I need to learn to let loose and enjoy the process. Also, I’m not sure why I keep drawing faces looking upward…
